A wonderful antique Georgian brooch, most likely originally a button which has been converted using a solid gold roll over clasp at a later date.

The silver brooch is set with exceptional black dot paste stones of such a high quality. The stones are layered over a gold metal base, an unusual design not commonly found in paste pieces.

The brooch is in good antique condition.
