DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A sweet Victorian lucky four leaf clover locket with an acrostic message spelled out by the stones. Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby to spell out DEAR. The leaves feature a hand-hammered finish, and it's set with a pearl to the centre and rose cut diamonds on the stem. Crafted in 15 karat gold, it dates from the latter half of the 19th Century, circa 1880.
